About Desktop Companion
The Desktop Companion is a friendly, expressive, personal AI assistant that manages your schedule and reminds you when things are due.
Aimed specifically at overwhelmed college and high school students, the Desktop Companion comes with a calendar app, where you set up your classes and schedule. Students tell their Desktop Companion what is due when, in which then it will take the time to schedule assignments and set reminders for when the due date is approaching.

Rewards
The Desktop Companion comes with many different features such as rewards and achievements. Everytime an assignment is completed on time, students unlock rewards that count towards unlocking new features for their Desktop Companion such as new expressions, colors, or themes.

Understanding the Problem
With classes being fully online, students are lonely and struggling to keep up with their busy schedules.
Our Solution
Desktop Companion is an AI personal assistant that aims to make online classes easier for college students by taking on the responsibility of scheduling assignments and reminding students of due dates. This friendly, expressive assistant also aims to become a type of companion that lonely students can verbally interact with.
